Unfortunately, some questions have arisen regarding the feasibility of obtaining building permits. We do not believe that the property has a proven deeded access. Lack of legal public access was desirable to us since land development and traffic would be limited. Besides, the road to the property has been in daily use for at least twenty' five years thus we could obtain perscriptive right of way if we eyer wantedto pursue the matter in the courts. The prospective buyers would like written assurance from the county. that they would not be prohibited from obtaining legitimate building permits due to the lack of a deeded access. They envision requesting permits for an addition to the existing house and for the construction of a workshop. At some point in the future they may wish to construct a new home further back on the property knowing that they would have to abandon the existing hodse. We would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving .this issue. I did not have any problem obtaining an electrical permit when we purchased the property in 1980. I verbally addressed these same issues at that time and there was no mention of a potential permit denial.
