Enclosed eaves are not required on this home as the "CDF Fire Safe Requirements" document I initialed on 11/02/2004 did not list them as a requirement under the more strict "Other Requirements." Even though I marked the building setback as between 15 and 30 feet, Mr. Hall chose to build the home under the more strict requirements which allowed him to "choose any 3 of the following..." and did not require a Class A or B roof and enclosed eaves with the other 3—it was one of the choices.
