ADDENDUM
87-405 - DISCUSSION: INTERPRETATION OF ALLOWING A PRE-SCHOOL CHILD
CARE CENTER IN AN AR -MH -2 1/2 ZONE
On a motion by Supervisor Vercruse, seconded by Supervisor McLaughlin,
and unanimously carried the Board interprets that day care facilities
for over 12 children should be treated like schools regardless of
whether the applicant is a non-profit organization or not. That these
day care facilities would be allowed in all zones having a provision
for Public/Quasi-public uses subject to first securing a use permit.
87-439 - DISCUSSION: INTERPRETATION OF A MOBILE HOME ONLY ZONE
On a motion by Supervisor Fulton, seconded by Supervisor Vercruse, and
unanimously carried the Board interprets that it is the Board's policy
that they would not have zoning which excludes only particular kinds
of housing as long as it is up to code.
87-440 - DISCUSSION:, INTERPRETATION MANUFACTURED HONES AND MOBILE
HOMES IN RESIDENTIAL ZONES
On a motion by Supervisor Vercruse, seconded by Supervisor McLaughlin,
and unanimously carried the Board interprets to allow the use of
manufactured homes (newer mobiles) as temporary second dwellings in
all residential zones subject to Use Permits. Condition such Use
Permit to prohibit placement of manufactured homes on permanent
foundations so as to facilitate their removal.
On a motion by Supervisor McLaughlin, second by Supervisor Fulton and
carried, the Board adopted policy as follows: Installation of
additional older (non -code) mobiles be restricted to these zones: A,
F -R, and T -M and that their authorizations as "Aunt Minnies" be
authorized only in the same zones and only with use permits. Older
mobiles would 'continue to be allowable in mobile home parks (by Use
Permit in all residential zones in the new code).
