This Certificate of Compliance is hereby issued by the County of Butte to
certify that the land division which created the parcel of property
identified below complies with the applicable provisions of the Subdivision
Map Act and of Chapter 20 of the Butte County Code.

BEGINNING at the intersection of the centerline of the right of way of

with the boundary line between Sections 19 and 30, said Township and
Range; thence from said point of beginning, Easterly, along the
boundary line between said Sections 19 and 30, a distance of 430.0
feet; thence leaving said boundary line.North and parallel with the
West line of. said Section 19, a distance of 250.0 feet; thence West
and parallel with the South line of said Section 19 to the centerline
of- said right of way of said Railroad; thence Southerly along said
centerline to the point of beginning.

COMMENCING at the Northwest corner of the Southwest quarter of said
Section 19; thence East along the North line of the Southwest quarter
of Section 19, a distance of 1650.0 feet to the point of beginning,
said point of beginning being the Northeast corner of that certain
Parcel of land described in the Deed from.Magalia Mining Company to A.
H.* Hoag, Jr., et ux, recorded August 6, 1956 in Book 841 of Official
Records, at page 66, records of Butte County, California; thence East
422.0 feet along the North line of said Southwest quarter of said
Section 19; thence Southerly parallel to the West line of said Section
19, a. distance of 430.0 feet toa point; thence Westerly parallel to
the North line of the Southwest quarter of said Section 19, a distance
of 1412.0 feet, more or less, to the Easterly line of that certain
parcel of land described in the Deed from Clara Leigh.to Belle Brown,
recorded October 30, 1950 in Book 561 of Official Records at page 231,
records of Butte County, California;. thence Northerly along said
Easterly line of said Brown parcel, a distance of 100 feet to a point
on the Southerly line of the above mentioned parcel of land described
in the Deed from Magalia Mining Co., to A. H. Hoag, Jr., et ux; thence
Easterly along said Southerly line of said Hoag parcel, a distance of
990 feet, more or less, to the Southeast corner of said Hoag Parcel;
thence Northerly along the Easterly line of said A. H. Hoag Parcel, a
distance of 330 feet to the point of beginning.

660.08 .feet to the Southeast corner of Parcel 3, as shown on said Map
and the true point; of beginning for the parcel herein described;
thence from said point of beginning, along the South line of said
Parcel 3 South 8911!57' 38" West, 535.66 feet to the Southwest corner
thereof.; thence South 10 16' 48" West, 54.61 feet; thence South 880
31' 46" East, 535.22 feet to'the East line of said Southwest quarter
of. Section 19; thence along said East line North 10 31' 54" East,
68.72 feet to the point of beginning.

(8) All that portion lying within the Southern Pacific Railroad right
of way.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM all valuable minerals, mineral deposits, oils
and gasses of every kind and nature, contained in and upon said land,.
together with the right of ingress and egress upon and from said land
at any point thereon for mining purposes, and to prospect, mine and
operate in and upon said land therefore, as reserved in that certain
.Deed from Magalia Mining Company, a corporation to George S. Sosnoff
dated July 17, 1962. and recorded' August 2, 1962 in Book 1193.,of
Official Records, at page 464, records of Butte County, Califorhi'a.
Issuance of this Certificate is conditional upon the following conditions
which have been imposed pursuant to the Butte County Code Chapter 20-167 and
Government Code, Section 66499.35 (b), to protect the public health and public
safety:
1. Parcel shall meet the requirements of the zone.
2. Submit and complete a parcel map \or otherwise comply with Chapter 20
of the Code of Butte County for creation of the parcel.

Application for Determination
At the regular meeting of the Butte County Subdivision Violation
Committee meeting held on August 3, 1988, the committee granted a
conditional Certificate of Compliance for the above -referenced
property. The conditions are:
1. Meet the requirements of the zone.
2. Meet the requirements of the Butte County Code for
creation of parcels.
There is a fifteen -day appeal period before this Certificate can be
recorded unless you sign and return the enclosed waiver waiving your
right to appeal the committee's decision.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact this
