Following our telephone conversation, I did the following:
• Again went to the web page for Calif Professional Engrs - I found a civil and a
mechanical engineer with the license number you gave me - the civil is
cancelled, the mechanical is delinquent. The civil has the same name that
Tammy Holt gave me from the drawings (Rolla Beryl Boughan). I could not
find a listing for the name you gave me ( John Maciejunes).
• Tried to find the manufacturer (RPG Manufacturing Inc.). They were not on the
internet, under RPG Manufacturing Inc. or carousel houses. Telephone
Information has no listing for them in Portland. Since the house was built 20
years ago, the company may be out of business.
It appears that the engineer was civil engineer Rolla Boughan (her name is on the
drawings, and the drawings are structural, not mechanical), and that the manufacturer is
probably out of business (at least not in business under the. same name in Portland).
We would like copies of your drawings of our house. I hope we have provided enough
information for you to release them. If not, please let me know what else I can do.

licensed, or registered professional, if any, who signed the plans and the building owner.

I am aware of the following three provisions of the Health and Safety Code as follows:
1. That the copy of the plans shall only be used for the maintenance, operation, and use of the building.
2. That drawings are instruments of professional service and are incomplete without the interpretation
of the certified, licensed, or registered professional of record.
3. That subdivision (a) of Section 5536.25 of the Business and Professions Code states that a licensed
architect who signs plans, specifications, reports, or documents shall not be responsible for damage
caused by subsequent changes to, or use of those plans, specifications, reports, or documents where
local governmental agencies, are not authorized or approved by the licensed architect who originally
signed the plans, specifications, reports, or documents, provided that the architectural service
rendered by the architect who signed the. plans, specifications, reports, or documents'was-not also
approximate cause of the damage.

On Monday, you found in your files microfiche drawings of our house at 15192
Coutolenc Rd. in Magalia. Since the drawings had an engineer's (Rolla Boughan)
stamp, you asked us to get the engineer's permission to. release the drawings.
The attached sheet from the California Board for Professional Engineers and Land
Surveyors' web site shows that the engineer's license is CANCELED. We understand
that the cancellation of the license permits you to release the drawings.
We would like to pick up copies of the drawings at your office next Monday, Sept. 23.
We will pay the $23.00 fee.
