Dear Mr. Crofoot:
On September 27, 2001, we sent you a letter with the original Certificate of Merger enclosed.
It has been brought to our attention that two (2) notes were omitted from the legal
descriptions. Both of the notes are conditions by the Environmental Health Department.
Please return the original Certificate of Merger to this office, so that it can be re-recorded with
the notes, as follows, added:
1. Prior to development on parcels created by this merger, prove usable sewage
disposal area that meets the Butte County Sewage Disposal Ordinance (Chapter
19). (as modified on June 26, 2001).
2. Under County permit, destroy abandoned well on resultant parcel 1.

Thank you for your March 2, 2001, letter concerning existing property conditions on the
above referenced merger proposal. A copy of your letter has been forwarded to
Environmental Health and Building to determine if there are any health and safety
issues related to your concerns. Mergers are exempt from Environmental Review and
in general they are approved if the proposal conforms to zoning, building, health and
access requirements. We will send you a copy of our.notice of determination.

Re; Merger AP 066-410-017 and 066450-009 and 010 into 3 parcels with a
different configuration.:
We have the following comments which we ask you to consider if they are
pertinent:
a) On parcel # 3 remains a concrete foundation from a blacksmith shop (burned
down August of 1999) of approx. 13 x 23 feet and a smaller one of approx. 5
x 5 feet.
b) On parcel # 2 remains a rock fireplace/chimney about 4 x 4 feet and probably
about 7 or 8 feet tall..
c) On parcel # 1 is an uncovered concrete -lined "hole" in the ground of approx.
4 x 4 feet.. A child or an animal could fall in and probably not get out.
