Maps Permits Addr August 12, 1987 Thomas and Lisa Melton RE: LPG Tanks 800 Bille Road A.P. #66-47-6 Paradise, CA 95969 Dear Mr. and Mrs. Melton: With reference to the above subject and the property you own at 13820 Grover Lane in Magalia, the three LPG tanks which you have located adjacent to the PG&E power pole constitutes a potential fire hazard. The PG&E pole is a potential source of ignition for the LPG tanks. The codes require a minimum of 5' from these tanks to a property line, build- ing, or any source of ignition to the relief valve discharge (10' from tank to ignition source if tank filled on location). I have been advised that General Order #95, which regulates the PG&E, has i a 25' requirements. (Please check with PG&E to verify this requirement.) Please have the tanks relocated to, comply witli�,')the most restrictive require - went and request an inspection to verify compliance within 30 days of the date of this letter. If relocation will require gas line extension or alteration, please contact our Paradise office and obtain a gas piping permit.
