Box 100 Paradise, CA 95969 Dear Supervisor Fulton: I am writing to request assistance from your good office on behalf of my father, who lives in Magalia. My father lost both awnings on his double -wide mobile during that awful snow storm several weeks ago. He has since received dispensation from his insurance company and retained a contractor to effect repairs. The contractor has delivered the wood to his property -- but there it sits. Apparently, there is a backlog in the Public Works Department, where permits for construction are granted. The contractor has no idea when the permit for this "minor construction" will be granted. The wood is now in the process of warping, and will be of little use if this delay continues, causing my father to incur a substantial financial loss. My father is quite elderly and bewildered by this process. Also, his resources are limited.
