Permit #112-75B for Abbey 1. Provide stair as shown on plans and separate from earth with concrete slab as shown. 2. Provide concrete pier as shown on plans and install in level position on firm ground. 3. Expose grade marks on plywood. 4. Provide 1x4 cross bracing and framing connectors as shown on plans. Permit #2913-75B for Max Sieael 1. Provide concrete under bottom of stair stringers and hangers at top. 2. Place concrete piers on solid ground. (Soil is partially washed out under outside row.) 3. Provide 1x4 cross bracing. 4. provide bearing between girder and post (there is now an air space) and install metal connectors. 5. Provide a minimum of 2x4 top rail on required guard rail and connect to deck in such a manner so as to withstand the required horizontal force of 20 pounds per lineal foot. Incidentally, we have been unable to locate a copy of your proposed support and tie - down for awning posts when placed on a.wooden deck. Please submit an engineered design with calculations by a registered civil engineer or architect for review and approval.
