FOR RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT
Section 26-8 of the Butte County Code required this acknowledgment to be recorded prior to issuance of a building permit. The
property described herein is adjacent to land or included within an area zoned for agricultural purposes, and residents of this
property may be subject to inconveniences or discomfort from the use of agricultural chemicals, including, but not limited to
herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers; and from the pursuit of agricultural operations including, but not limited to cultivation,
plowing, spraying, pruning, and harvesting which occasionally generate dust, smoke, noise, and odor. Butte County has established
agricultural purposes and residents within said zones and on adjacent property should be prepared to accept such inconvenience
or discomfort from normal, necessary farm operations.

By signing below, I, the project architect/engineer of record, indicate that I am aware that a
construction project that disturbs more than 1 acre of land requires a Construction Storm Water
Permit from the State Water Resources Control Board. I, additionally, understand that it is the
project owner's/owner's agent's responsibility to submit a Notice of Intent (N.O.I.), a Storm
Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and a fee of $700.00 to the State Water Resources
Control Board to obtain such a permit. I, further, certify that this project will not disturb more
than I acre of land. I have also reviewed the Best Management Practices Handbooks, California
Storm Water Quality Task Force, Sacramento, CA. I certify that appropriate BNIPs will be
implemented to effectively minimize the negative impacts of this project's construction activities
on storm water quality. I acknowledge that it is my obligation to make the project owner and
contractor aware that the selected BMPs must be installed, monitored, and maintained to ensure
their effectiveness. If, at any time, site conditions and/or observations by a County official
warrant reevaluation and revisions of the chosen BN Ts, the appropriate changes will be made
without unnecessary delay. I am aware that failure to properly implement and maintain the
BMPs necessary to prevent the discharge of pollutants from this project during construction
could result in significant penalties and/or delays.

These requirements are minimums and will be superseded by Butte County
local regulations which equal or exceed these standards. Field
inspections will be made by the Butte County Building Department for

maintenance -of properties in conformance with these
standard's and measures and to assure continued avail-
ability, access and utilization of the defensible space
provided for in these standards, annual maintenance
must be provide for by the land owner.
Driveway Standards
[t]" 1273.02 Surface. All driveway surfaces and structures (bridges,
1273.07. culverts and other app.rteaant structures which supple-
mens the roadway bed cr shoulders) -shall provide unob-
structed access to conventional drive vehicles, includ-
ing sedans and fire apparatus weighing up to 40,000

1. All ducts and plenums installed, sealed and in-
sulated, to meet the requirements of the 1998 CMC sectons
601, 603, and 604, and standard 6-3; ducts insulated to a
minimum installed level of R-4.2 or enclosed entirely
in conditioned space. Openings shall be sealed
with mastic, tape, aerosol sealant,.or other duct -closure
system that meets the applicable requirements of UL181,
UL181A, or UL181B. If mastic or tape is used to seal openings
greater than 1/4 inch, the combination of mastic and either mesh
or tape shall be used. Building cavities shall not be used for
conveying conditioned air. Joints and seams of duct systems and
their components shall not be sealed with cloth back rubber
addhesive duct tapes unless such tape is used in combination wit
mastic and drawbands.
