Drive APN 069-300-27 & 28 _ -Butte County; California Dear Mr. -Vierra: This report addresses the construction of an engineered building pad•approkimately 501x100' on the above referenced property. Gravelly,, sand clay material for.the site was imported. The .initial fill material had greater than 30% retained ona 3-" sieve, so ASTM test Meth6d.1557 was not applicable. On this portion of the fill a visual/proof rolling method was used. All vegetation was removed from the pad area. Material was moisture conditioned and compacted with a D-4 and a Case 602B vibratory compactor.. The fill was placed over a two week period and was periodically observed during that time. Additionally,. tests were taken by Nuclear Gauge Test Method ASTM 2922,• and these results indicate the fill was compacted in excess of 90% relative density. -The fill was observed to be structurally stable and suitable".for a single family.residence construction.
