As you mark it, number each part on the wood itself. Make sure that you lay out all pieces on each board before cutting, to avoid being too short. B. After marking hole locations from the template, use a nail or centerpunch and punch the center of each hole before driling holes. This will keep the drill from wandering off location. You will need to use punch outs #20, #21, #22 and #23. Start by tightening all nuts on the floor joist. Lay all flooring out before nailing. C E-- 2 x 6.12' 2x6-10' II I F \�� I ''� D 2x6-8' Ir f 2x6-6' - 2x8-3' E A. At point Eon the floor joist, place the 2" x 8" - 3' centered to stud. Now lay the 2" x 6" - 6' behind the stud and centered using template #21. Mark, cut out, and slide 2" x 6" - 6' into place. B. Place a 2" x 6" - 8' and a 2" x 6" -10' behind stud E and center. C. Now take a 2" x 6" - 10' and lay it against studs F & D centered to the building with equal end extending past the floorjoist using template #23. Mark and cut off both ends. Slide center piece in from the other side. Some trimming may be necessary. Next take the ends and using template #21. Mark as shown. Cut out and slide into place. D. Lay 2-2" x 6" -10' and 4-2" x 6" -12' into place as shown. Now place a 2" x 6" - 12' against studs G & C. Mark, cut, and slide into place using template #20. Repeat proceedure on other side of floor. At the peak cut shingle to fill top as shown and nail in place. E. Install cap by cutting shingle into three pieces as shown. Start at the bottom and work up leaving approximately 5" exposure. You will need to cut and shape the size of the cap down as you reach the peak. It is better to do the last three foot of cap on all runs at the same time.
