Cannon Parcel
Mr. John Mendonsa
Butte County
Department of Pub o Works
7 County Center Drive
Oroville, CA 95965 -
Dear Mr. Mendonsa:
Cal trans, b str1 3 has reviewed, the tentative parcel map for Robert Cannon,
which would create two parcels,at the northwest corner of Ridge View•Jane and
Tli,§iway 162 (Olive Hig)iway) .
Without a specific land use proposal, we cannot;evaluabe the potential trip
generation or the need for mitigation measures as a result of this sub-
sion. In an attempt to mininii,ze access openinep ori the State highway',
partleulaxly in the vicinityof an intersection, we would recommend :future
access to Parcel 1 be constructed via Ridge View liana. This would reduce
don;flics with State }highway traffic.
We would appreoiate the opportunity to review any oubseguent development plans
for either of these parcels. If you Have any questions on these comraents,
Tease conta:ot Jeannie ulcer at the above address or telephone (916) 741-4498.
Sincer6ly,
W. R. OEM
