Dear : Jose and Matilda Fernandes:
Pursuant to Butte County Code (BCC) Section 41-2, you are in violation of the Butte County Code, at the above -
referenced location. As of this date, the following violations exist:
Failure to obtain the required permits, inspections and approvals from this office for the installation of a
mobile home and installation of utilities and occupancy prior to final inspection.
(a) Section 28A-1/1018 Permits Required for any Plumbing or Electric
(b) Section 28A-1/1048 Inspections Required for any Plumbing or Electric
(c) Section 28A-1/1034 Permits Required for Mobile home Installation
(d) Section 28A-1/1326 Inspection Required for Mobile home Installation
The above violations(s) shall be corrected or abated by you by submitting three (3) complete sets of plans,
applying for the required permits, and paying the appropriate fees, including penalties. After permit issuance and
field authorization to proceed, the work must be completed and approved by this office within the permit
specified time.
It is the County's goal to obtain voluntary compliance with the Butte County Code. However, you should be
advised that Butte County has an active Code Enforcement Program which provides an effective means of
enforcement if voluntary compliance is not obtained. Enforcement may be pursued through the issuance of
citations, fines and the recording of a Notice of Violation including a description of the action necessary to abate
the violation.
You have thirty 30 days to voluntarily comply with the above directions or to present an acceptable plan
for
abatement or corrective actions to be taken by you. Should you have any questions concerning this matter, please
contact Bill Barron in this office at the address or telephone number listed above.

With reference to the above subject and the remodeling work you are doing on your
property at 7521 Lumpkin Road without the required permits and inspections from'
this office, an inspection was made with you on November 16, 1984.
The inspection revealed the following items which must be done or resolved:
(1) Verify sewage disposal system is adequate or provide system as approved
by the Butte County Health Department.
(2) The existing spring must be altered and made sanitary to satisfaction of
the Butte County Health Department (see attached data).
(3) Provide a permanent heating system installed per code requirements.
(4) The electric water heater relief valve drain must be piped to the
exterior of the building.
(5) The building must be made weathertite, including roof, walls 'and windows.
(6) Provide additional cross bracing in both directions underneath the
building.
(7)' Provide proper stairs to"front porch.
(8) Provide a landing and proper stairs to the exterior door from the den.
(9) Provide plumbing vents on all.plumbing fixtures.
(10) Provide smoke detectot in hallway access to bedrooms.
(11) The electric meter and service entrance conductors must be properly
anchored to the building.
(12) Verify adequacy of electrical wiring system and that system is grounded,
eliminate exposed wiring, and provide at least one receptacle in each room..

With reference to the above subject and the remodeling work you are doing on your
property at 7521-Lumpkin Road without the required permits and inspections from
this office, an inspection was made with you on November 16, 1984.

The inspection revealed the following items which must be done' or resolved:
(1) Verify sewage disposal system is adequate or provide System as approved
by the Butte County Health Department.
(2) The existing spring must be altered And made sanitary to satisfaction of
the.Butte County Health Department (see attached data).
(3) Provide.a permanent heating system installed per code requirements.
iI (4) The electric water heater relief valve drain must be piped to the
exterior of the build ids:

(5) The building must be made weathertite, including roof, walla *and windows.
(6) Provide additional crows bracing in both directions underneath the
building.

(7)Provide proper stairs to front porch.
(8) Provide a landing and proper stairs to the exterior door from the -den.

(11) The A'ectric meter and service entrance conductors must be properly
anchored to the building.
