COMPLIANCE STATEMENT
--------------------
This certificate of compliance lists the building features and performance
specifications needed to comply with Title -24, Parts 1 and 6 of the
California Code of Regulations, and the administrative regulations to
implement them. This certificate has been signed by the individual with
overall design responsibility. When this certificate of compliance is
submitted for a single building plan to be built in multiple orientations,
any shading feature that is varied is indicated in the Special Features
Modeling Assumptions section.

completing and returning the enclosed PLAN REVIEW RESPONSE FORM. Your complete
and clear response will expedite the re -check and approval of this project.
NON-STRUCTURAL COMMENTS:
Per the 2001 CBC, all habitable rooms must be minimum 7 feet in any direction and have a
minimum of 70 square feet of inside floor area. Your front bedroom does not meet this
requirement. Please revise the plans. Keep in mind that hallways must be 36 inches wide,
minimum.
✓y Showers must have a minimum floor area of 1024 square inches and be able to encompass a
30" circle. Please revise the shower to meet these minimum requirements.
Water closets must have 30 -inch clearance side-to-side and minimum 24 -inch clearance in
front. Your bathroom sink appears to be within the 24 inch clearance in front. Please revise
the plans.
The front bedroom does not have an adequate egress window. Please provide a larger
/Window that meets the requirements of the 2001 CBC.
6: The window areas on your energy calculations do not match the window areas on the floor
plan. Please coordinate the plans with the energy calculations after you have finalized the
window sizes.
STRUCTURAL COMMENTS:
T 4x6 girder will not span 6 feet. Please provide a larger girder or provide piers 4'6" o.c.
aximum.
. 2x8 D.F.#2 ceiling joists 24" on center will not span 20 feet. They must be D.F. #1, or
