Failure to obtain the required permit, inspections and approvals from this office for reroof of single family residence. Since permits and inspections are required for the above work, please apply for the required permit and pay the appropriate fees. All work must stop until the permit is issued and you are authorized by our field inspector to proceed. The field authorization cannot be made until the existing work is inspected and approved. It is the County's goal to obtain voluntary compliance with the Butte County Code. However, you should be advised that Butte County has an active Code Enforcement Program which provides an effective means of enforcement if voluntary compliance is not obtained.
