The violation is as follows: Failure to obtain approval of previous corrections and failure to obtain final inspection prior to occupancy and permit expiration for addition for single family residence. Permits and inspections are required to correct the above noted violation(s). Even though you did not create this violation(s), you as the current owner of record are required to resolve any violation(s) or correct any hazards. Please contact this office within (10) ten days of the date of this letter to discuss the appropriate correction of this code violation. Please be aware that Butte County has entered into a Code Enforcement Program that seeks voluntary compliance with the Butte County Code but provides an effective means of enforcement if such compliance is not obtained. If voluntary compliance is not obtained, enforcement will be pursued through the issuance of citations, fines, and the recording of a Notice of Violation. Your cooperation in resolving this matter would be appreciated. As we stated 'in our previous letter, we made an inspection of the building on July 8, 1986, and found the following items which must be done or resolved: (1) Verify water supply system is adequate per Health Department re- quirements. (2) The previous items required to be done on the existing house have not been done. (a) Vent all plumbing fixtures. ,(b) Provide legal stairway to upstairs bedroom. (c) Wood stove not properly installed or connected to type A flue. (3) Verify plumbing fixtures connected to septic tank. (4) Original portion of the building shows signs of floor deterioration and roof leaks which must be repaired. (5) The entire building must be wired per code requirements. (6) Verify adequacy of floor structural system. (7) The addition, which was to be constructed under permits and inspec- tion does not conform to code requirements and must be demolished and recon- structed.
