Box 9073 Chico, CA 9.5927 Dear Ms. Courcier: April 19, 1990 RE: Special Inspection #16-90 A.P. 02-23-42 to til With reference to the above subject and your request for inspection of the proposed conversion of the existing agricultural building located at 409 Chinese Wall Road, Oroville to a single family dwelling, the inspection was made on April 18, 1990. The agricultural building was constructed without building permits and in- spections from this office, so we were not able to perform inspections during construction. We therefore made a reasonable visual inspection without going on the roof, or in the attic and found the proposed conversion appears to conform to the intent of code requirement, except for the following items which must be done or resolved: 1) Verify building structural. system conform to approved building plans after plan checking including proper foundation, and or bolts, and framing. 2) Verify water supply and sewage disposal system meet Environmental Health Department requirements. 3) Provide light and ventilation to each room per Uniform Building Code Section 1205 "88" edition. 4) Provide minimum plumbing facilities for a living unit installed per Uniform Plumbing Code, including water closet, lavatory, water heater etc. 5) Provide minimum heating, installed per Uniform Mechanical Code. 6) Provide minimum electrical outlets, lights, kitchen outlets, in- stalled per National Electric Code "87" edition. e 7) Provide energy requirements per State Code. 8) Mobilehome utility permits and inspections will be required and approval to occupy the existing travel trailer during construction will be required from the Planning Department.
