Cur=nently,'we have an antenna installation neat, the Oak's Mobile dome park on belly Ridge in Oroville, where there are transmitters that convert conventional television signals into microwaves and then send -them out over the air to receiving sites in Biggs, Colusa, and Gridley, where tete signals are then ve--prooessed back to conventional, televi8i6f: signals. In the naXt two months we intend to expand this microwave system to Marysville, Oroville, and Paradise. Unfortunately, -there is an abstracted line of -sight (as the CrowFla e;;: from our transmitting site on Kelly Ridge to Paradise Our only}„possible alternative, is to bounce the Microwave transmisi- sign offk.._lf a passive repeater at .a third site, which then relays the signal on to Paradise unabstructed, Our engineers have found an ideal. location for such a repeater on the Bobbie Blue kedge (A.P. #72-23-25). 'Re have placed a deposit for purchase of this land in escrow with the broville Title Company, and are now applyi for a use permi'to construct the passive repeater with ,your ng governing body, ,,The microwave passive repeater is only a mtLal structu`,e f; with' flat side (241 x 801) pointing toward the ax. cf the ._.. an G • g etween the transmitter and roceiver.
