Mr., Dave Hironimus
Bunte County Planning Department
' 7 Country Center brive
Oroville, CA 959`.65
Dear Mr Hironimus:
The Department of, Fish and Game has reviewed the
Tentative Parcel
Map (AP, 72-26-45) for Eugene, Lahaie'=s proposal,
to: split J.5+
acres into three aroels of 6+ acres. The TP site
' P
is located
east of` roville and south of Lake Oravilid. The
site is covered
by 'a mixed habitat of oak' woodland and chaparral
and is critical=
winter` range for the ` M oretown Deer Herd. Rosidential
development
of the parcels Mould' adversely affect migratory
deer. The Depart-
ment concurs with Bu;tte County, Deer Study Panel's
Report which
recommends 40 -acre minimum parcels for sites not
adjacent to
identified transportation corridots. We recommend
the subject
site remain at "fits current "size.
