Dear Ron:
Butte County will issue building permits on
the subject parcel map since by law
a parcel map also serves as a Certificate of
Compliance. Apparently this map-,
was approved at a time when scrutiny of deeded
right -of --way access -was not too .
great. We will, however, mark those permits
with a note that we do not guarantee
access to the applicant, future owners or residents.
Our present policy of requiring verfication
of access for all other parcel divisions
or -permits in this area will continue unless
we get different direction from the
Board of Supervisors.
