At the regular meeting of the Butte County Development Review Committee held on July 27,
1995, the Committee granted a Certificate of Compliance for the above -referenced property.
There are no conditions, but a note will be placed on the certificate as follows: "All new
structures must meet the Fire Safe Requirements of Butte County and Public Resources Code
4290 and 4291."
There is a fifteen -day appeal period before this certificate can be recorded unless you sign and
return the enclosed waiver waiving your right to appeal the committees decision. If the
conditions are cleared prior to the end of the appeal period, a "cl'ean' certificate with no
conditions will be recorded'

Dear Building Dept.
I am writing about a parcel in Clipper Mills which we have in escrow: I need
to be certain a building permit can be issued on this parcel.
Letime give.you some background information. The parcel in escrow is AP# 73-09-013:
It lies on the Yuba -Butte County line. Its north boundary is described as the
centerline of an existing road. see attached legal description) Apparently,
Butte Co. does not recognize this road as being in existance even though it is
well traveled, has been there for years, and is -described in detail on the
legal descriptions. Yuba,County recognizes Lost Creek Dam Rd. as a legal road.
I have enclosed a .letter from them stating the same. Their Lost Creek Dam
Road is the same as the Butte Co. non -road. Since the subject property
has -as its property .line ;the same road, it is logical to assume that the parcel
has access from Yuba County if not from Butte.
Please .let me know if my buyer can indeed obtain a building permit on this parcel.

These two items show that the portion of Lost Creek Dam Road
lying within Yuba County is a County maintained road. From the
two Assessor's maps sent by you, Butte County A.P. Map 473-09 and
Yuba County A.P. Mao #54-07, it would appear that: Butte County
Assessor.'s parcel N -D. 73-09-13 would touch a po-rt:iori of this
road. However, a truE! determination as to how much, if any, this
parcel borders on the Yuba County section of Lost Creed; Dam Road
could only be made through a land survey.
