McELROY Deputy Director Keith White RE: Special Inspection #14-90 1410 Maddux Drive A.P. #73-15-28 Redwood City, CA 94061 Dear Mr. White: With reference to -the above subject and your request for inspection of the dwelling unit at 155 Blacktail Road, Oroville, the inspection was made on April 13, 1990. The dwelling structure was constructed by you without permits and inspec- tions from this. office, so we were not able to perform the required inspections during construction. We therefore made a reasonable visual inspection without going on the roof, or .under the building and found the dwelling structure appears to conform to the intent of .code requirements, except for the following items which must be done or resolved: 1) Provide water supply.:and sewage disposal system per Environmental Health Department requirement. 2) Provide approved heating system to comply with Uniform Building Code Section 1212 "85" edition. 3) Provide continuous perimeter concrete foundation system. 4) Verify building structural systems conform to approved building plans after plan checking . 5) Verify woodburning stove installed per approved listing. 6) Provide emergency. egress from second story bedroom per Uniform Building Code Section 1204. 7) Provide safety rails at all decks over thirty (30) inches off grade per Uniform Building Code Section 1711. 8) Provide handrails at all stairways with four or more risers per Uniform Building Code Section 3306. 9) Provide minimum electrical for outlets, lights etc. installed per National Electric Code, 1987 edition. This inspection by the County of Butte does not act as a guarantee or warranty as to the internal soundness of this structure. It is now in order for you to submit complete plans in duplicate to this office, including plot plans, floor plans and structural details, apply for the required permit and pay the appropriate fees and penalties. The permits must be obtained and above listed items completed within thirty (30)•.days of the date of this letter and prior to occupying.
