If you proceed with your plans to move the house, it must conform to requirements for new construction and the following items must be done or corrected: 1. The floor construction, both ground level and upstairs, have floor joist systems which are overspanned. These systems must conform to present struc- tural requirements. 2. The rear portion of the roof, shed type, appears overspanned and must conform to present structural requirements. 3. The metal fireplace does not have proper clearance to combustible materials and a proper hearth. In addition, the flue must conform to present clearance and installation requirements. 4. The front porch guardrail must conform to present requirements for height and rail spacing. 5. The building's electrical system must conform to present requirements idluding the grounding of all receptacles, two (2) separate 20 -amp appliance circuits. for the kitchen and dining area, and proper receptacle spacing. 6. The plumbing system must conform to present requirements including the venting of all fixtures. 7. The stairway to the upstairs area must conform to the maximum rise of 8 inches and the minimum run of 9 inches requirements. 8. A sanitation permit must be obtained from the Butte County Health Department for your sewage disposal system. It to now in order.for you to submit two (2) complete sets of plans to this office incorporating the above items, apply for the required permits, and pay the appropriate fees.
