W.DONALD Deputy Director Ray ow r 105 Sutton Ave. So. San Francisco, Ca., 94080 Dear Mr. Fowler: December 30, 1976 RE: Permit applications for the installation of a mobilehome (AP 73-22-56 In reference to the above subject, your inquiry by phone to the Butte County Planning Department on December 27, 1976 has been referred to this office for reply. We understand that you propose to place a mobilehome on your property._ behind the store at Clipper Mills. Our records indicate that you jointly own this property with F.D. and Maxine Gardner and others, and that there is presently a dwelling on the property. The Planning Department advises us that the area is zoned A-2 which would permit a second dwelling on a legally created parcel if a Declaration regarding lots or parcels is recorded in the Butte County Recorder's office. However we will need verification by a recorded deed that your parcel has a 60 ft. right of way to a public roadway. In the event that you can provide proof of a 60 ft. access, attached please find the necessary forms that you may use in applying for the required permits. The Parcel Declaration must be notarized and recorded with a copy, after recording, submitted to us. A septic system permit must be obtained from the Butte County Health Department, 7 County Center Dr., Oroville. They will require with, the application,,a plot plan, a $5.00 fee and a copy of the recorded Parcel Declaration. 0 k Mr. Ray Fowler RE: Permit applications December 30, 1976 Page 2 for the installation of a mobilehome. All copies of the mobilehome utility and installation permit applications must be completed where indicated and returned to this office together with three copies of a plot plan showing the size and shape of your parcel, .with the location of all existing and proposed improvements, two completed dopies of the enclosed mobilehome installation sheet, and fees of $111.00 unless your proposed mobilehome will require a larger than 100 amp electrical service in which event an additional $2.50 would cover up to a 200 amp service. You should also contact P.G. & E. at 2150 Bird St., Oroville for availability and location of an electrical service. Once we have everything required, we would first issue the permit for the installation of utilities and after they are installed and.approved by our inspector we could then issue the mobilehome installation permit. This, then would require inspection and approval prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy. Incidentally if your proposed mobile - home will not be over 8 ft. wide or 40 ft. long, no installation permit is required, therefore the $30.00 fee is not required. Besides the above, if you propose to construct any accessories such as decks, porches, awnings, etc. plans must be submitted in duplicate and additional permits will be required. If you have any questions regarding the above, please contact us. LDS:ds CC': Lynn Vanhart, Environmental Health, Oroville Yours very truly, Clay Castleberry Director of Public Works Lloyd D.
