Townsend: This is a formal warning notice. Pursuant to Butte County Code (BCC) Section 41-2, we sent you a courtesy notice dated March 4, 2004, notifying you that you are in violation of the Butte' County Code, at the above -referenced location. As of this date, the following violations still exist: Failure to obtain the required permits, inspections and approvals from this office for the installation of a mobile home and installation of utilities and occupancy prior to final inspection. , (a) Section 28A-1/1018 Permits Required for any Plumbing or Electric (b) Section 28A-1/1048 Inspections Required for any Plumbing or Electric (c) Section 28A-1/1034 Permits Required for Mobile home Installation (d) Section 28A-1/1326 Inspection Required for Mobile home Installation The above violations(s) shall be corrected or abated by you by submitting three (3) complete sets of plans, applying for the required permits, and paying the appropriate fees, including penalties. After permit issuance and field authorization to proceed, the work must be completed and approved by this office within the permit specified time. This is your final warning. Unless you contact this office and make the proper arrangements to correct or abate the violation(s) voluntarily, within ten (10) days from the date of this letter, enforcement shall be pursued through the issuance of a citation (ordering you to appear in court) for said violation(s) and for failing to comply with this warning letter. In June of 1993 we contacted your department regarding this same matter and believed the issue resolved. Please allow me to review what occurred at that time. My father died in July 1992, I took possession of the property shortly thereafter. I temporarily moved onto the property to settle my fathers estate- and dispose of his personal effects, rather than leave it unoccupied and open to vandalism. During that time a law suit was filed against myself and members of my immediate family. The individual who filed this claim is well known to our family, is dangerous and unbalanced. Many threats were made against not only ourselves, but to structures and vehicles. Due to past experiences, we had no doubt that this person would carry out the acts of arson and theft that were threatened. This person in an attempt to bring further grief into our lives, made numerous false claims against us to various agencies. Each and every grievance was subsiquently dismissed. When we spoke to your department in June of 1993, we explained all of this, refuted all charges and expressed our opinion that the complaint logged against us to your agency was yet another malicious act by this person or an agent thereof. I made appointments to meet with a representative from your department and. show him around the property, but his busy schedule kept him from ever meeting with me. I was left with the impression that your agency was satisfied with its. investigation and I was not contacted again. Mr. Vieira, my family has been through enough. I am very interested in expediting this matter. To that end, I will answer each specific alligation directly: No "grading" work done. A small tractor was used to haul trash and debris and to remove tall weeds and grasses that in my opinion represented a fire hazard. No remodeling was performed. The two camping trailers parked on the property are being stored there until they are sold. They -are not installed or occupied. In June of 1993 we contacted your department regarding this same 'Q& -matter and,believed the issue resolved. Please allow ane to review what occurred -at -that time. - My father died in July 1992, I took possession of the property shortly thereafter. I temporarily moved onto the property to settle my fathers estate and dispose of his personal effects, rather than leave it unoccupied and open to vandalism. During that time a law suit was filed against myself and members of my immediate family. The individual who filed this claim is well known to our family, is dangerous and unbalanced. Many threats were made against not only ourselves, but to structures and vehicles. Due to past experiences, we had no doubt that this person would carry out the acts of arson and theft that were threatened. This person in an attempt to bring further grief into our lives, made numerous false claims against us to various agencies. Each and every grievance was subsiquently dismissed. When we spoke to your department in June of 1993, we explained all of this, refuted all charges and expressed our opinion that the complaint logged against us to your agency was yet another malicious act by this person or an agent thereof. I made appointments to meet with a representative from your department and show him around the property, but his busy schedule kept him from ever meeting with me. I was left with the impression that your agency was satisfied with itsinvestigation and I was not contacted again. Mr. Vieira, my family has been through enough. I am very interested in expediting this matter. To that end, I will answer each specific alligation directly: No "grading" work done. A small tractor was used to haul trash and debris and to remove tall weeds and grasses that in my opinion represented a fire hazard. No remodeling was performed. The two camping trailers parked on the property are being stored there until they are sold. They are not installed or occupied. I hope this letter has adequately explained the situation and that we can.bring this issue to a close.
