The owners, David and Lawrence Tungate, received this property upon the death of their parents who purchased the home in 1968. The storage area was built prior to 1971, but there seem to be no records of a permit. This request for the special inspection is being made because the home is in escrow to be sold under VA financing. The condition of the VA loan is that "Local authority to Certify that the Garage conversion or addition conforms to local standards by the local building authority".
