1) Completed Bu a epartment of Development Services building permit
application. Please furnish the assessor's parcel number for the proposed project.*
2) 4 Site plans signed by the preparer of the plans. Paper to draw site plan and Site
Plan Submittal Requirements handout are available at the Development Services
counter.
4.0, One of the 4 site plans must be a minimum of 8 '/2" X 11" to a maximum
of 11" X 17" and fully dimensioned.
3) 3 Complete sets of plans signed _ by the preparer of the plans. Plans need to be to a
F minimum scale of %" = 1' on a minimum of 11" x 17" paper. These plans need to
include the following:
A) Plans need to include a foundation plan, floor plan showing all windows
and doors with sizes and rooms labeled, cross section, structural details,
roof plan or truss details and layout and exterior elevations.
1) In addition to the floor plans for plan check, one of each floor plan
must be a minimum of 8 %i" X 11" to a maximum of 11" X 17" and fully
dimensioned.
B) All plans and details must be drawn to scale (minimum 1/4" = 1') and
\ ` atm dimensioned!
C) Plans prepared by an architect or engineer, including calculations, must be
wet -stamped and wet signed and bear address and phone -number of
architect/eAgineer.

D) If plans are engineered 2 sets of structural calculations are required to
accompany plans for submission

7) If the plans are engineered, a letter from the Registered Design Professional
verifying Soils Investigation Report review and structural design in accordance
with the report. l
Your plans may be routed to other regulatory entities for review, including but not limited to
Planning, Public Works, Environmental Health and the California Department of Forestry. To
help expedite your permit, please be responsive to requests from County departments for any
additional materials or requirements.
If in a sewer district, a copy of the approved permit from that district may be required.
If your project is located in the State Responsibility Area (SRA), you are required to meet the
SRA Fire Safe Requirements sheet.
PLEASE NOTE: Payment is required when You apply for a building permit. We take
Payment in the form of credit card, cash, check or money order.
*When filed, this application and all supporting material becomes subject to the California Public Records Act. All public
information related to this application is subject to public inspection and will be posted on the County's website for
electronic access.

Re: Burn -down letter for 5230 Lower Wyandotte Ave., Oroville, CA, (APN 036-093-015).
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Tipton;
The above referenced parcel is currently zoned C-2 (General Commercial). This zone allows for a
single-family dwelling only as an accessory to a commercial business. This dwelling is a legal pre-
existing non -conforming use.
Should the dwelling be catastrophically destroyed it may be reconstructed to the same exact footprint
within one year, provided it will not be placed within the required building setback areas and meets
sanitation codes in effect at the time of reconstruction.
The setback requirements for the C-2 zoning are 50 feet from the center of the road and 5 feet side
and rear yard property lines.
