Dear Mr. Archer, et al:.
This de . partment has received complaints concerning an abandoned
house at the above listed location. The Butte County Assessor's
recordsindicate you are the owner of the property�,
On April 12, 1984, 1 visited the site. The house appears vacant
and has.been.disconnected from utilities. I did hot enter the
structure. I was able to observe the following conditions from
V -C Avenue -and V-7 Road.
1. -The roof has deteriorated and is in poor repair..
2. Windows are broken. -
3. The*building lacks weatherproofing.
4. Utilities have been disconnected.
These tonditions render the structure substandard and unsafe for
human occupancy as defined under the California Administrative Code,
Title 25, Chapter 1, Subehapter .1, State Housing Law Regulations;
and under the Health and Safety Code, Section 17920.3 (a), (b),
(c), (d), (e), (f) and*(g).
To comply with these regulations, please take the following action
within THIRTY (30) DAYS from receipt of this notice. '
1. Repair the dwelling ' unit under permit and inspection of the
Butte County Department of Public -Works, 7 County Center Drive,
Oroville, CA; eliminating all health and safety hazards in the
.building.

2. If you do not elect to repair the dwelling, clean up the
surrounding yard areas, removing all trash, weed*s; and com-
bustibles, and secure all doors and windowsso unauthorized
persons cannot enter the structure.
You may wish to contact Connerly and Associates, Inc., 2215
.21st Street, Sacramento, CA 95818(telephone 916-456-4784) to
determine if you may be eligible for low interest rehabilitation
funding under the El Medio Rehabilitation Program now underway.
Please advise me of your decision in this'matter. I may be
