Dear Mr. Walker:
On March 10, 1989, an inspection of the above listed dwelling was
made by Bob Keith, Butte County Department of Public Works, and
the undersigned.
The dwelling is a one story, wood frame house, with deteriorated
wood siding, concrete perimeter foundation, and composition
shingle roof. The house shows lack of maintenance including
broken windows and doors, floors missing or damaged, ceiling and
wall damage, roof leaks, missing stairs, missing.kitchen sink,.
bathtub, toilet, and lavatory, missing water heater, no heating -
facilities, improper chimney or flue, missing switches,
receptacles, fixtures, fuses or -breakers, damaged wiring, damaged
or missing plumbing, and defective sewage disposal system.
In order to bring this structure into compliance the following
min.imum.corrections shall be made:
1. Provide an acceptable sewage disposal system, with approved
septic tank and sewage disposal field or pits. Contact the
Division of Environmental Health, 7 County Center Drive,
Oroville, for permit and inspection.
2. Repair or replace damaged, or deteriorated floor joists,
sub -floor and floor covering,'., -Provide adequate u"nderfl•oor

3. Repair or replace water damaged walls and ceilings.
4. Repair or replace leaking roof. Replace all rotted
supports, sheathing, trusses, and rafters. Provide adequate
under roof ventilation.

wiring, outlet boxes and fittings; unprotected wiring; open
or exposed splices. Install new 100 amp service and all

6. Provide a kitchen sink, toilet, lavatory, bathtub or shower,
properly trapped and vented. Provide proper supports for
all drainwaste and vent piping. Provide proper leak free
plumbing for all drain, waste, vent and water lines.
7. Provide a properly installed heating system with separation
from combustibles, proper flue, etc.
G. Provide a properly installed water heater, with venting,

Dear Mr. Manus:
This letter is to confirm our telephone conversation on March 23,
1989, regarding the existing septic system for the house located
at 2551 Oro Garden Ranch Road,. Oroville owned by.Fred Walker.
Provided you meet the requirements of the Butte County Planning.
(538-7601) and Building (538-7541) Departments, you may plumb a
trailer into the existing septic system while you are repairing the
house.
It is understood that the house's waste plumbing will be tied into
the Lake Oroville Area Public Utilities District's sewer line that
is proposed for the dwelling.
Should the existing septic system, fail the trailer will have to
be removed immediately as no repair to 'the septic system will be .
allowed.
You are required to install a' sanitary "Tr, on the outlet of the
septic tank and install a heart -grade redwood lid, at least two (2)
inches thick, on the septic tank.
Also, you must obtain all necessary permits from the Butte County
Building Department and the Lake Oroville Area Public Utility
District, 1960 Elgin Street, Oroville.

Dear Mr. Walker:

We sent you a warning letter dated December 16, 1992 notifying you that
you are in violation of the Butte County Code at the above referenced loca-
tion. As of this date, the following violations still exist.
Failure to obtain the required inspections and approvals from this
office prior to expiration of permits, and failure to comply with the
items listed in the Special Inspection Housing letter in violation
of the 1985 Uniform Building Code adopted by Section 26-1 of the Butte
County Code as follows:
(a) Section 301(a) Permits Required
(b) Section 30.5(a) Inspections Required
(c) Inspection Approval Required before Use or Occupancy
The above violation(s) shall be corrected or abated by you by submitting
three (3) complete sets of plans, applying for the required permits, and
paying the appropriate fees including penalties within 30 days of the date
of this letter. After permit issuance and field authorization to proceed,
the work must be completed and approved by this office within the permit
specified time.
Unless the violation(s) is(are) so corrected or abated, a citation shall
be issued to you to appear in court for said violation(s) and for failing
to comply with this notice. Upon conviction of said violation(s) or for
failing to comply with this notice, penalties shall be imposed and a Notice
of Violation recorded in accordance with Section 41-7 of the Butte County
Code.

We sent you a warning letter dated December 16, 1992 notifying you that
you are in violation of the Butte County Code at the above referenced loca-
tion. As of this date, the following violations still exist.
Failure to obtain the required inspections and approvals from this
office prior to expiration of permits, and failure to comply with the
items listed in the Special Inspection Housing letter in violation
of the 1985 Uniform Building Code adopted by Section 26-1 of the Butte
County Code as follows:
(a) Section 301(a) Permits Required
(b) Section 30.5(a) Inspections Required
(c) Inspection Approval Required before Use or Occupancy
The above violation(s) shall be corrected or abated by you by submitting
three (3) complete sets of plans, applying for the required permits, and
paying the appropriate fees including penalties within 30 days of the date
of this letter. After permit issuance and field authorization to proceed,
the work must be completed and approved by this office within the permit
specified time.
Unless the violation(s) is(are) so corrected or abated, a citation shall
be issued to you to appear in court for said violation(s) and for failing
to comply with this notice. Upon conviction of said violation(s) or for
failing to comply with this notice, penalties shall be imposed and a Notice
of Violation recorded in accordance with Section 41-7 of the Butte County
Code.

On March 10, 1989, an inspection of the above listed dwelling was
made by Bob Keith, Butte County Department of Public Works, and
the undersigned.
The dwelling is a one story, 'wood frame house, with deteriorated
wood siding, concrete perimeter foundation, and composition
shingle roof. The house shows lack of maintenance including
broken windows and doors, floors missing or damaged, ceiling and
wall damage, roof leaks, missing stairs, missing kitchen sink,
bathtub, toilet, and lavatory, missing water heater, no heating -
facilities, improper chimney or flue, missing switches,
receptacles, fixtures, fuses or -breakers, damaged wiring, damaged
or missing plumbing, and defective sewage disposal system.
In order to bring this structure into compliance the following
minimum corrections shall be made:
1. Provide an acceptable sewage disposal system, with approved
septic tank and sewage disposal field or pits. Contact the
Division of Environmental Health, 7 County Center Drive,
Oroville, for permit and inspection.
2. Repair or replace damaged, or deteriorated floor joists,
sub -floor and floor covering. Provide adequate underfloor
