Box 1639 Oroville, CA 95965 Re: A.P. #36-13-118 Dear Mr.`Carter: It has been brought to our attention by Mr. Jim Glander, Chief Building Inspector for the Butte County Public Works Department, that you installed a mobile home on your property located at 3870 Oro -Bangor Highway, in Oroville.- Pursuant to State law, a permit.must be obtained when a manufactured home or mobile home is to be located or installed on any site for the purpose of human habitation or occupancy as a dwelling. Health and Safety Code §18613. Any person who willfully violates this requirement is guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine not exceeding four hundred dollars ($400) or by imprisonment not exceeding 30 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Such person may also be liable for a civil penalty of five hundred dollars ($500) for each violation or for each day of a continuing violation. Health and Safety Code §18700.. In this case, the County is the agency designated to enforce these provisions. Health and Safety Code §18300(f). Therefore, you are hereby notified to cease occupancy of the mobile home you installed on your property located at 3870 Oro -Bangor Highway, in Oroville., until you have obtained the proper permits, inspections and approvals from the Butte County Department of Public Works.
