Since permits and inspections are required for the above work, please contact this office within ten (10) days of the date of this letter, apply for a permit to complete.the work and pay the appropriate fees. Failure to obtain permits, inspections and approvals for installation of a wood stove. Since permits and inspections are required for the above work, please contact this office within ten (10) days of the date of this letter, submit three (3) complete sets of plans, apply for the required permits, and pay the appropriate fees. All work must stop until these permits are issued and you are authorized by our field inspector to proceed. This field authorization cannot be made until the existing work is inspected and approved. Please be aware that Butte County has entered into a Code Enforcement Program that seeks voluntary compliance with the Butte County Code but provides an effective means of enforcement if such compliance is not obtained.
