The Code also makes provision for the County r0gLkiring a bond or deposit at the time of application of sufficient size to cover the removal expense of the mobile home. This is to insure that the taxpay^rs at largo (via the General fund) are not charged those .expenses should the County be forced to vemove the mobile home pursuant to the Code. Of course, if the applicant removes this mobile home voluntarily, then the bond or deposit Would be returned Similarly, if the County removes the mobile home, then only charges actually incurred would be reiri,Llursed from the bond or deposit with the remainder being treturnsd 410 the applicant. A survey of several mobile home dealerships zn Butte County has indicated a rather wide range of estimated costs of removiLJ. Taking the median figures and adding a small amount for administrative costs and storage cost's, it appears that a reasonable dettosit would be $1,000 per single wide and $1,500 fear a dou63.e wide mobile home. These amounts seem reasonable to insure that the Mobile home is removod at no cast to the county or the taxpayers. The applicant propeses'to placo a single wide mobile home on the property.
