to the attention of the commission the fact that ;Mr.
Bettencourt would like to appear and present further
and new evidence on this matter in support of his
position requesting the allowance of a grocery ;More use on
the subject property. I am advised by him that many
residents in the area phoned him after noting the newspaper
article on the hearing this week asking why he had not
appeared.
lie plans to attend the Tuesday evening meeting next weelt
of the commission to personally make the request outlined
in this letter4 We realize that time is precious on the
calendar and no undue advantage will be taken of the
Commission'.,r•onsideration of a short spot on the calendar.
