It will be neces- sary for. the Board to request a change in the freeway agreement, adding a public road connection to Highway 32 at the point indicated. It is my understanding that some development is proposed in the irrmediate future s route and that rear Highway 32 on this the property owners would be required to improve the road from Highway thi 32 as the property was sold, parceled or developed. this same ma inasmuch as the roads*do (2) We suggest that the major_ routes In Nord be considered as indicated in pink on p, not actually exist a9 shown on the highway planning survey map and the Master Plan. (3) We ask that your Planning Co'minissi.on give consideration to extending a route line from Eaton Road and the Esplanade to Muir Avenue. Inter -Depart e, Memorandum TO: Albert Wa sh Director of Pi anin FROM, Clay Castleberry, Director of Public Works SUBJECT: Amendments tO Streets and highways Naster Plan PATE Cotober 21, 1969 This will confirm the DepartmeAt of Public Works, r.ecommendatior for an extension of the routing of Eaton Road from the Freeway and Esplanade area to Highway 32. This, we feel, should have been included at the time the master plan was drawn up, In answer to your further question, this is not a PAS rollte and it is not anticipated; that these funds would be used on this route since we have so Many PAS projects waiting in line on the existing TAS system, that routes Of this mature would have to be funded from other sources, hr, ' This will also confirm, that the new 115 XV' power line; bPE `min the Chico area do not conflict with existing or proposed street routi.nge, Clay at erry CC:ad.
