Mrd camenzind epalte regarding the proposed rezone of land on Midway and Hwy 994. As this rezone would affect the future as well as a large tyumber of neighbors the iron should be studied'and reviewed it Appears that consideration is not being given on an equitable basis, He questioned the number of signAt_ures on the petitions presented. There is A large number that do not live in the rezone area, There are Also several, 3i$natures that represent a lot of owners of small parcels residing on ,tones Avenue outside the rezone area. The area between Jroville and Chico highway was recommended for "A-5" zoning. There are 44 parcels in the area and 39 will be nonconforming. He questioned the Board regarding the committee that was formed to study this matter. Supervisor Winston advised 14r. Camenzind that this action was before the Board a couple of weeks ago. There was a request for a. continuance. The Planning Commission was instructed to give priority to planning problems in south Chico area.
