The Forest Ranch-Cohasset area has ao ulation of approximately

of the Forest Ranch-Cohasset population is located in the Forest Ranch
area. Between 1975 and 1980 the area experienced a 50.6 percent increase
in Population..

Dear Forest Ranchers
Enclosed is a copy of a t'Community Attitudes and Land Use 'Servey"'
pre;parea by tete Forest t:anoh Community Association as requested by
the Butte Couaty Planning, Commission. The Planning Commission
will soon be updating the; County General Plan for the Forest, Ranch
area. This input from the 'Forest Ranch ,residents will be of great
value to them in determining what the Forest Ranch people want.
The County GOteral FI -in was made in 1971. The zoning work that
was done by tl�ie Forest Ranch Committee and adopted by the
Supervisors io still 'in force. In areas of conflict between this
ssoning and the General Plan, the General Plan takes precedenoe.
This is why it is so ,Lmportant to make our wishes known so that
when the General Platz is revised., it will be brought more into
life with the zoning we have worked so hard to get.
