Avenue, between Williams Avenue and Ludlum Avenue,
in Palermo
Steve Streeter reported that the application is in order and called attention
to -a memorandum- from staff dated 12/16 and received earlier by the Commission,
Cation was made by Commissioner Schrader, seconded by Commissioner Lambert,
ta:
,,Recommend that the Board of Supervisors adopt a resolution
abandoning that portion of Hewitl: Avenue located between
William Avenue and Ludlum Avenue subject to the retention of
rights for the P.G.&E, facility, with the following clause
inserted into the resolution.
Reserving to Pacific Gas and Electric Company for service to
the general public the right from time to time to install;
maintain, operate, renew and use such overhead electric facili
ties as it may deem necessary over, along and within said aband-
oned portion of Hewitt Avenue."

The Feather River Recreation and Pare District has requested
abandonment of a portion of Hewitt Avenue in Palermo for the
reasons stated in the attached letter,:.
P. G. $ B has no objection to the abandonment of the street
but requests the granting of a public utility easement for their
existing 12 KV overhead powerline there.
Recommendation:
A. Recommend that the Board of Supervisors adopt a resolution
abandoning that portion of Hewitt Avenue located between
