However; we do maintain and operate an existing 12 KV overhead power line across the entire length of this portion of Hewitt Avenue and hereby request that 'rights for this facility be retained in the resolution of abandonment. The rig lies between William Ave. and Ludlum Ave. in Palermo and is bounded on both sides by property owned in fee simple by the Feather River Recreation and 'ark District• The right-of_.way currently exists as a low maintained, undeveloped strip of ]Nand separating the public swi-m,,Ii.ng pool and the remainder of the park. There is currently a community wide effort in conjunction with the Recreation District to improve the appearance and u.ti.ity of the perk. Acquisition of the right-of-way as park property would gr9atlY enhance the desired improvements to tije Park.
