LOCATED 500 FEET EAST.OF FOOTHILL BLVD, 400 FEET NORTH OF ORO -BANGOR
HIGHWAY, OROVILLE AREA FOR SAM AND PliTH_GARDNER s
Discussion of the letter from Sam and Ruth Gardner requesting,
that the Board approve an interim zone change from "AR" to "AR -MH" for
AP 36-54-17, property located 500 feet east of Foothill .Boulevard, 400
feet north of Oro -Bangor Highway, Oroville area was held at this time.
Bettye Blair, planning director, stated that Mr. and Mrs. a
Gardner made application for a rezone to "AR 41H". It is a five acre plus
parcel. There is one residence on the property now. The "AR' zoning
only allows for oae residence ner parcel.
Supervisor 5araceni stated that :Mr. and Mrs. Gardner had
rchased a mobile home for their grandmother, who is 90 years old, and
cannot care for herself. They applied for a zone chan$e so they could
apply for an Aunt Minnie to allow for the mobile home,.
Ms. Blair advised that the Application for rezoning was made
on November 10, 1581 and is set ,for hearing before the Planning Commission
on December 9, 1981. She was reluctant to, recommend an interim zoning
since the Commission is so close to hearing this matter.
Supervisor Dolan stated that whether the interim was approved
or they waited for the rezone to be approved, they would have to apply
fnr .qui Aim f- Ntinrie. The interim zoning would save them time:
It was moved by Supervisor 5araceni, seconaed by bupervisor Lem.Ke
that the interim zoning .from "AR'" to "AR-L!H" (agricultural residential
mobile home) for Sam and Rmt.h Gardner for AP 36-54-17, property located
500 feat east of Foothill Boulevard, 400 feet north of Oro -Bangor Highway,
Oroville area be approved for a`perod of 120 days•, Ordinance 2256 be
adopted and the Chairman be authorized to sign.
Ruth Gardner, hoped to put her grandmother with them. Last year,
her brother lived in the apartment with their grandmother, He was able
to drive her grandmother back said forth to her house Her brother was
married, and now she has to drive in every day or her grandmother has to
drive to her house, It was her uznderstanding that if the interim was
approved that they would still have to ask for the permits for utilities
for the mobile and permits for installation of the mobile home: She was
applying for a mobile home permit under the Aunt ►'nniei
