This action is necessary to clear the tv;ry for the Planning Commission to consider the time 8addle Ridge Estates' PUD Rezon:c, AP 4.1-03-115, on their June 21, 1984 agenda. A portion of the Casey Ranch (about 8 acres) identified as AP 41-03-46, is proposed to contain the storage reservoir and irrigation area for the treatment facility on the adjacent property; refer to the attached map It is important to make the distinction that the storage reservoir is proposed to contain water that has been treated off-site r.atheY than the reservoir serving as an oxidation pond to further treat the water prior to disposal . The water Qua1 ity Control, Board requires the 6,6 acre fort storage reservoir to contain the treated water during the four rainy months of the year. Otherwise; the treated mater would be used for irrigation or.. a five acre+ area of .s. the _Casey Ranch, As stated, the storage reservoir and D.- igation area are expected to take -.bout 8 acres of area out of a. total. of 256 acres+ for the entire parcel.. Though this particular project is located in Agricultural Preserve #9, a board determination that a storage reservoir and irrigation area for the disposal of treated water from a treatment facility is compatible would. ther+,.after apply to a comparable s tt:uati on within any of the agric'tiltural preserves of the County. Also attached for your k-eview, is th.e tentative agreement: signod between Anne Casey and the project applicants for the Lime Saddle Ridge hstates PUD. A letter with attachment describes a treatment plant which is compavible to the one that would, lie vtilizeA frit the residential project, The similar model manufactured. by another r;ompany may ultimately be used;.
