Such zonin; or rezoning shall be done by the Butte County Board
of Supervisors through the exe=rcise of its discretion a.nd in
the tnanner prescribed by law.

zoning districts, as vrell as references to the consistent and
conditionally consistent designations applicable to the.

The area generally knov��n as the Be11-Muir area located in northwest Chico (bounded on the
west by the Southern, Paci ff c Rai i road: Tracks, on the. south by East Avenue, and Henshaw
Avenue, on the east 'by Alamo Avenup and on the nortia by Bell Road an Muir Avenue) is
designated as a "Study, Area No.. l". This designation shall be in addition to that shot -,n
on the Chico Area Land Use Plan pla n
Map.. This area. designated as a. Study Area No. 1 shall be
subject to the special polilcles of this section.
a) The Board of Supervisors, by simple majority vote, may revise the: location, of the Chico
Area Greenline s:�- as to p7ace the Study Area Nto.. '7 on the Urban Side of the Chico Area
Greenline, if and :only if: -

f1) Pri-or, to or concurrently with such revision, a specific pian of land use-, developed
in accordance with Section 65450 e.. seq;. of the Government Code= is adopted by the.'
- Board of Supervisors in the manner prescribed: by law, and

of Study Area No. 1.
In construing this section,; it is the intent of the Board of Supervisors. to address
planning issues on an areawide rather than piece -meal basis. If public funds are
utilized to: develop an: areawide specific p1a►t, appropriate fees may be appled to any
and or ali permits secured In the area pursuant to Section 65453 of the Government. Code.

Avenue, on the east.by Alamo Avenue and on the north.by Bel'' Road and Muir Avenge) is
designated as a "Study area. No. P. This designation shall be in addition to that shown
on the, Chico Area Land` Use Plan Map. This aria designated as a Study Area No. l shall be
subject to the special policies of this section.
