Drainage '(Northwest Chico Drainage Study DATE, July 25; 1989 A & Q Engineering 'has completed a drainage study for the Bell 'Muir area. Three alternative solutions for drainage were prepared as follows: Alt. No. 1 This alternate consisted primarily of open ditches along, existing County roads with pipes under driveways and road crossings. This alternate is totally unacceptable; Alt. No. 2f- Consists of a combination of pipes and roadside ditches. This alternate would allow the use of open ditches wherever the theoretical flows required. a 36 inch diameter pipe or smaller. Thas alternative is not p y acceptable due to the size of ditches along roadways that would create hazards to motorists., Alt... No. 3 -- Consists of underground. pipes for the entire area, except for an open ditch for the final outfall line which is not adjacent to County roads.
