Project Accomplishments Task One: Preparation of a Request for Proposal. Bids were solicited from, firmg qualified to prepare the County's Energyand Pe&vsation , Natural ResouLces and Associates Ewaesment. Interviews were held 6/3/88. Michael Clayton hired to prepate the element. I The only difficulty encountered to date has been the appointment of the citizens advisory committee, County staff has been working with the board of supervisors to appoint a committee which represents resource preservation and production groups, energy industries, and recreation providers or user groups. The committee needs to be geographically `as diversewell. The Board postponed makingappointments for over two f months as a result of 'heavy agendas and budget sessions. Five members of the committee have been appointed, with the remaining eight y anticipated to be appointed by 10%4188. The first citizens advisory committee meeting will be held 'approximately ,two week`s after all appointments have been made.
