The ability to care for one's close'relatives will not only result in better care for citizens, but will also negate in many situations the necessity foc public assistance which many citizens find degrading and damaging to the pride of the persons concerned and their immediate relatives. This will also provide privacy and dignity for the relative as well as independence, of which these people deserve. 1. Please state the circumstances that apply: / /n $ n 2. The conversion will require the recordation of a deed restriction that states: the owner of the parcel or lot must occupy either the main dwelling or the second dwelling unit (Butte County Zoning Code, Section 24-280). In order for the Planning Division to prepare the second dwelling deed restriction, there are several steps that must be performed in order to complete the process. Please follow the procedure below: ® Send a copy of the current legal description for the parcel or lot identified above to the Department of Development Services, Planning Division.
