Gentlemen:
The undersigned il-esidents of Stilson Canyon formally
request that you reopen the public hearing on the matter of
the Stilson Canyon permanent rezoning.

We understood that on January 27, 1976, the Board of
Supervisors simplypreferred the matter of rezoning back to
the Planning Co=iission for further study and report. Since
no dale for further hearing was set at the -A-.1me of the
January 27th meeting (either at the 9 hearIn"", itself or in

the newspaper account thereof), we n;�,tur. , lly assumed that,,
we would receive written notice prior to any further
hearing on the matte"'r-,.,
The only notice received was to the effect that on
Mart,h 2, 1976, at 2--30 p,m. you were conduc-ing a hearing
on the extension of interim zoning in Sti,lsot Canyon area.
Our representatives appeiYd at that hearing prepared to
discuss such extlqnsiond To the surprise of those of us
present, you announced at 1.-55 p.m. that the Stilson Canyon
permanent teZOhiftg was closed to further discussion. Ypt,�
