on the southeast corner of Ceanothus Avenlie and
Manzanita. Avenue, identified as AP 48-?WJ-l.s
The Butte County General. Phan designates the area as lo I w -density
residential, 1-4 dwelling units per acre) but the Board, of Super,
visors on November 28 1978 determined that the amendment which
states:
"The scope of urbanization in unincorporated areas cannot
be effectively delineated on the land use map of the General
Plan,, because of .the map scale and the wide di spe'rsement of
the various urban uses: As a result, numerous isolated
existing urban uses are not delineated on the land use map.
In order Vo facilitate reasonable land use patterns consistent

which are contiguous to and surrounded by those established

Valley to the north, Marigold. Elementary and Loma Vista Orthopedic
to the northeast, with residential uses and some open land. The
subject property has been subdivided by a parcel map.

Department. Soil conditions could restrict desired
