The subject property contains 8.8 acres, and is part of a parcel
which contains a total of 134.5 acres with the remainder lying

This property ;is site I timberland and contains over one million

procedure and recommended for inclusion:. Itis nJt subject to the limitation
of 160 acres because it is becoming part, of a larger area.
Hearing open to the public. Appearing„ Don Coi.zea; representing
Soper -Wheeler, stated that he was speaking in favor of the rezone.
It is 6 mattes of a technical rezone rather, than used The use has been
for forest land. It does restrict some 6f the uses in the "A-2" zoning
that care allowable. It is directly contiguous to some 4,000 acres in
Yuba and Butte Counties that is already,i'zoned 11TZ.

On motion of Supervisor Wine,ton, seconded by Supervisor Moseley
and unanimously carried, finding the proposed 'rezone is not affected by
environmental review, the project was found to be categorica'llY' exempt
from environmental review and is in conformity with the General. Plan.
On motion of Supervisor Winstotl, seconded by Supervisor Wheeler
and unanimously carried, the rezone for Soper -Wheeler Corp from "A-2"
(general) to "TP -160" (timber ,preserve - 160 acre parcels) property
located south of Sly Creek Reservoir, approximately 1/2 anile north of
ifI, I,a Porte toad, approximately one mile east of Lewis Ridge Road, identified
as AP 13-06-11., containing 5.,,8 acres, more or less, east of Orovi.11e was
approved with the finding that it is in conformity with the General Plan
