The hearing wi11 be Tuesday,. november 22, 1963 at 7:30 p.m. at Shasta Union Elementary
School, Wlti-purpose Room, Esplanade and Leora Court (169 Leora- Court.), Chico, California. I
The area. under consideration is shorn on the enclosed map and is generally -that- area
bordered on the west by the Southern Pacifi c Rai l road tracks on. the north by Mui, r Avenue
and BeTTRoad, on the east by Alamo Avenue, and the south by Henshaw and East Avenue.
The area, is now designated on the General Plan as Orchard and Field Crops and- is in an
agrfcultuml-5 acre minimum (A-5) zoning district.
The current General Plan policy would allow the Greenline to :be moved -rd a change fa the
General Plan designation only if the fa -lowing findings are grade

utweight the public benefits of continued agricultural' production, and
