That Chapter 23C is hereby added to the Butte County Code to read as follows: §23C-1.. Title. The title of this chapter shall be sown as the Registration Requirements for Cammerc,ial Weighing and easUrin,g Instruments, §23C-2. Purpose: The purpose of this chapter is to stablish a system for the registration of weighing and measuring nstruments for the recovery of costs incurred from the inspect -Ing nd testing of such instruments, as established in California usiness and Professional Code Sections 12210 and '12240; 2± seq4 §23C-3. Defiinitiohs. Eor the -purpose Of this chapter, he following Terms and phrases shall: be defined as set out below. Il Weighing and Measuring instruments" shall ,include the following devices, and all other devices classified by the State Director Of Food and Agriculture as coming within Section 12241 of the Business and Professions Code. 1 Electric Meters ..w up to 200 AMP maximum capacity* 2: All card/wire and fabric meters 3. Liquid meters - up to 3O GPM maximum capacity 4. Liquified petroleum gas meters stationary LOO dispensers only u- 60 81,14 IiitiXiIII(IM capacity 5, Taximeters 6'Vapor meters -- Up co 450 CfH maximum capacity v 1 7. "Cummercial Purposes" shall have the meaning assigned to it 13 by Section 125,00(e) of the Business and Professions Code. 14 C. "County Sealer" shall mean the sealer appointed by the County 15 Hoard of Supervisors and his duly authorized agents' 16 D. Application 2 An application for a registration certificate must be submitted I to the County Sealer in the form prescribed by him. Delihquency Any person failing to reneW a 8 permit on or before the next anniversary date of each successive 9 year shall be required to pay an additional sum oquol to Sow of 10 the registration fee as a penalty for any such delinquency.
